#Canada150 Day 149

Canada150 149

Students from each of Colwood’s schools were invited to create a Canada 150 Art Tree—a mixed-media art poster where students design the leaves of the tree along with other imagery to describe an aspect of Canada that is meaningful to them. (Visit www.colwood.ca/Canada150 to learn more about celebrating Canada150 in Colwood.)

See the actual projects at the Coast Collective Art Gallery, or online through the City of Colwood website.  May 30 2017 is the last day to vote.

Vote for your favourite piece; the winning school will enjoy a field trip to Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites with a guided tour with the renowned historian and storyteller, John Adams.
